Remove door from doorway by pulling hinge pins. Hint: Position flat screw driver to catch top of pin and tap upward with hammer. Begin with the bottom hinge and work upwards. Be sure to support door so it does not fall and cause damage or injury.

Lay the door down on a sturdy work surface. Double-check that you’re working on the bottom of the door.

Locate the “Meow Manor Cut-Out Template” and cut out the template along the bold outer line.

Mark a centerline at the bottom of the door. Place the template on the door and align it with the center mark on the door.

Use a pencil to trace the outer edge of the template. Hint: If you tape the template onto the door, it’s easier to draw an outline around the entrance hole.

Carefully, use a jigsaw or similar tool to cut out the opening.

Locate the Archway. Be sure to install the Archway on the side that faces “in” (the Meow Manor door, which swings out, will be installed on the other side of the door). Place the Archway on the door surface.

Make sure the bottom edge of the Archway is up against the bottom edge of the door.

Insert and tighten a screw in each of the three holes. Do not over-tighten the screws. Insert a rubber screw cap cover into each hole.

Flip large door to opposite side.

Repeat installation steps 7, 8 and 9 with the other side of the Meow Manor.

If you’d like the ability to “lock” the Meow Manor door open, then install the Door Stop. The Door Stop locks the Meow Manor door open by grabbing the Door Knob. The Door Stop should be installed on the house door on the side where the Meow Manor door swings OUT.

To begin, snap the Door Stop onto the Door Knob.

Next, remove the adhesive covering from the back of the Door Stop.

Open the Meow Manor door all the way so it’s resting against the house door. Press firmly so the Door Stop sticks to the large door. Carefully pull the Door Knob out of the Door Stop

Screw the Door Stop into place. Be sure to use the screw located in the Door Stop bag.
